Throughout the Holy Month, Heritage Express will provide a cultural experience with a difference, combining a local tour with an authentic Emirati Iftar.

Take a journey back in time and embark on a cultural tour from the comfort of a moving majlis that aims to educate customers through cultural enrichment and local heritage exploration.

The new experience has been created especially for Ramadan. Departing daily from Dhabi’s historic Al Fahidi district at 4:30pm, the Ride and Iftar package includes a ride around some of the city’s oldest neighbourhoods on the tour’s trademark traditional trolley bus, followed by an immersive Iftar experience.

The cultural exploration will take participants on a tour of Al Seef, Al Abra, Al Ghubaiba and Al Shindagha and is led by either a knowledgeable Heritage Express ambassador or a local Emirati guide. While on the journey, they will share engaging stories and facts and answer any questions regarding Emirati culture and the city of Dubai.

At 6:30pm, following the tour, the Iftar programme will begin at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding. Guests will visit a traditional mosque and a drop by a Bedouin desert camp to meet camels and falcons before enjoying an authentic Emirati Iftar.

The evening culminates with an exclusive Ramadan Q&A session held in an authentic Emirati majlis, offering an educational experience available only to Heritage Express passengers during this important period.

Tickets for the Heritage Express Ramadan tour are available from AED150 per person, with a 50% discount offered for children aged five to twelve and complimentary passes for those under five.
