Sunset Hospitality Group has been wowing the Middle East with its latest restaurant openings. Now, it is adding another one to the list. Carttel is coming to Saudi Arabia, although the details are currently under wraps, here’s what we know about the concept.
Carttel has not yet confirmed its opening date or location. So far, we know that it will be located in Saudi Arabia, and is an original concept, which is new to the group’s portfolio. The group is already behind Black Tap in the Kingdom.
Judging from Sunset Hospitality Group’s previous hospitality hits, Saudi Arabia is in for a treat. Founded in 2011, the group’s portfolio spans beach clubs, restaurants and nightlife venues. Today, it is a leading force in the hospitality industry. With a presence in more than 17 countries, its concepts can be found in countries including Bahrain, Lebanon, Morocco, Turkey, Qatar and the UAE.
The group’s concepts include Azure Beach, Ammos, AURA, Drift Beach Club, L’Amo Bistro del Mare, SUSHISAMBA and more. In 2023, the company opened Bar de Lola Marbella, Isola Marbella, METT Hotel & Beach Resort Marbella, Mott32 Dubai, Yalikavak Marina Hotel Bodrum, Mood Jordan, Raise Marbella and Santana Bali.
Sunset Hospitality Group’s upcoming openings in the region include the Korean restaurant, Hanu, which will be located at St Regis Gardens on Palm Jumeirah. The restaurant will serve contemporary Korean cuisine, plus it will be a family-friendly dining destination and great for groups. Expect a traditional setting, and, judging from the name, hanwoo beef dishes. Plus, it is opening D’Lirio Dubai, but the location has not yet been confirmed.
