Saudi Arabia’s Film Commission announced the decision, which comes after a drop in film licensing fees. The decision was approved by the Film Commission Board of Directors, chaired by Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan. The aim is to make cinema more accessible in the Kingdom and position the country as a regional hub for filmmaking.
