An immersive wellness therapy that is more than a walk in the woods.

Spanning 1000 square meters and home to seven treatment rooms, a spa suite and two Moroccan Hammams, the Versace branded spa have recently introduced one of Dubai's most unique wellness treatments - Rainforest Therapy.
Inspired by nature and the calming properties of the Rainforest, the new experience is the first aromatherapy treatment to be introduced at The SPA. The rainforest-inspired treatment begins in the sauna, where, laid face down upon heated wooden planks, we're gently caressed with eucalyptus leaves. The release of oils from the leaves as they brush the skin creates an aroma that helps open and purify our airways. The rhythmic beating is a sensation that does require some perseverance and while not necessarily "relaxing", it soon becomes hypnotic.
The 75-minute treatment continues with a trip into the rainforest showers, where a combination of jets, sprays, mists and sound effects create an immersive jungle experience. We feel as though we've been caught in a tropical downpour as cacophonous bird sounds are interrupted by thunderclaps and lightning effects to create an exciting experience that prepares us for our massage.
Entering into the massage room, we're met with lush vegetation and billows of smoke that emanate from the collection of products used during our 60-minute tension-releasing deep massage. Utilising slow and long movements to encourage stress relief, the massage promotes a sense of deep relaxation. After a thorough head to toe massage, we truly reconnect with nature by having our hands and feet spread with a cleaning mud mask and wrapped in banana leaves.

This ancient healing tradition helps to bring serenity to mind, body and skin.
