Translating to One Night in Havana, the tour promises an evening steeped in the romance of Cuba’s golden era. For those unversed, the Buena Vista All Stars are the only ensemble of their kind in the world, uniting the last remaining original musicians from the Buena Vista Social Club with top-tier Cuban musicians who continue to keep that sound very much alive. It was the group that introduced traditional Cuban music to a global audience, becoming a cultural phenomenon.
Leading the charge are Barbarito Torres, celebrated for mastering the laúd, and Demetrio Muñiz, the acclaimed trombonist and musical director. Alongside them will be world-class Cuban musicians who continue to honour the sound of Havana’s golden era.
