The tennis championship returns from 31 January to 7 February 2026.
Sports fans, listen up – the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open will return to the capital from 31 January to 7 February 2026, bringing world-class tennis and festive fun to Zayed Sports City. Tennis enthusiasts can secure the best available seats at the International Tennis Centre by visiting Platinumlist.
The 2026 draw will feature 28 singles players and 16 top doubles teams, building on last season’s highlights that saw Olympic gold medallist and inaugural champion Belinda Bencic return to lift a second title over rising star Ashlyn Krueger, with Jelena Ostapenko and Ellen Perez taking the doubles crown.
Hosted in partnership with Mubadala and Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the WTA 500 event on the Hologic WTA Tour blends sport and entertainment across eight days, from opening qualifiers to the finals on Saturday, 7 February.

His Excellency Aref Hamad Al Awani, Secretary General of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said: “This championship has become a highlight of Abu Dhabi’s global sporting calendar, reinforcing the capital’s reputation as an international hub for elite sport. Each year, we continue to build on this success and we are excited to welcome players, fans and families back to Zayed Sports City for another spectacular edition.”

Off the court, the Fan Village will deliver appearances from star players, live entertainment, prize contests and a broad mix of food and beverage options.

Children under 12 can attend the first five days free of charge, and the opening Saturday offers open seating with free entry for all. Multi-day passes provide strong value, while upgraded Courtside Hospitality adds premium seating, lounge access, gourmet dining and parking for a luxury experience.
