This festival promises a weekend of excitement.

Dubai's cultural hub, Alserkal Avenue is preparing for the return of the Quoz Arts Fest next month. Mark your calendars for 27 and 28 January, as this 11th edition promises a weekend filled with live music performances and cultural activations for the whole family.

Quoz Arts Fest has become a staple in the region's cultural calendar. Al Quoz Creative Zone, a key contributor to the festival's success, joins hands with Alserkal Avenue to bring together a dynamic program featuring live performances, art installations, and cultural activities.

This festival is a dream come true for music enthusiasts. The lineup boasts the return of crowd favourites such as the Dubai-based hip-hop maestro, Big Hass, and the Sudanese fusion duo, MarSimba. Adding a unique flavour to the mix, UAE-based Stick No Bills will showcase South Asian culture through their captivating live music performances and DJ sets.

Renowned Japanese artist Yuri Suzuki takes over Concrete, Alserkal Avenue's multidisciplinary space, with his participatory interactive sound environment titled Echoes of Nature. Suzuki's eclectic arrangement of pipes and horns challenges preconceptions of natural and artificial forms, creating an immersive experience for festival-goers.

Quoz Encore, the platform for emerging musicians, is back with a bang. Musicians of all ages, genres, and backgrounds are invited to participate in the Open Call by submitting a one-minute live performance video and bio. The chosen acts will get a chance to perform during the festival, adding a vibrant touch to the already diverse lineup.

Quoz Arts Fest goes beyond just music, offering a feast for the senses with performances like a Bharatham fusion, a unique blend of hip-hop and Bharatanatyam choreographed by millennial artist Usha Jey. Tanzanian-born performance artist Dipesh Pandya will transform a car into a sonic sculpture, creating a sonic landscape inspired by the Al Quoz neighbourhood.

For those eager to soak in the full experience, a weekend access pass can be secured for AED 63 via Platinumlist, proceeds from which will contribute to the Quoz Arts Fest program, supporting local and regional talent.
