The 19th edition of the fair will spotlight global voices across galleries, alongside a packed programme of talks, performances and installations.
Art Dubai will once again take over Madinat Jumeirah from 15 to 19 April 2026, bringing its signature mix of international discovery and regional depth back to one of Dubai’s most recognisable cultural settings. The upcoming 19th edition is designed to open up fresh perspectives beyond the conventional gallery booth.
Across the fair, audiences can encounter art in motion and in public. Alongside the exhibitors, Art Dubai’s parallel programme will extend to installations, commissions and performances that activate the site throughout the fair. From ambitious, newly commissioned works to live interventions and immersive experiences, the aim is to make the fair feel like a cultural moment rather than simply a marketplace.
Art Dubai Galleries
Spanning contemporary and modern practices, Art Dubai Galleries will present exhibitors whose programmes are recognised for curatorial rigour, creative ambition and sustained cultural dialogue. The Art Dubai Selection Committee includes Andrée Sfeir-Semler (Sfeir-Semler Gallery, Beirut and Hamburg), Priyanka Raja (Experimenter, Kolkata and Mumbai), and Selma Feriani (Selma Feriani Gallery, Tunis), ensuring a sharp curatorial lens across participating presentations.

Bawwaba
Bawwaba, meaning “gateway” in Arabic, is positioned as a platform for discovery, centred on solo presentations of newly produced work by emerging to mid-career artists. Curated by Amal Khalaf, Bawwaba 2026 focuses on practices that test materials and formats, engage deeply with research, and explore the layered realities of diasporic experience. Themes of belonging, movement, resilience and knowledge-making run through the section, with participating galleries presented as ecosystems that sustain experimentation even under uncertain conditions.

Zamaniyyat
Zamaniyyat, drawn from zaman, the Arabic word for “time”, offers a dedicated platform for revisiting artists who shaped and reshaped modernisms throughout the 20th century and into the present. Curated by Dr Sarah A. Rifky, Zamaniyyat 2026 brings together 11 galleries and 45 artists from more than 20 countries, tracing how modernism travelled through schools, publications and institutions, and how it unfolded across uneven histories rather than a single timeline.

Art Dubai Digital
Art Dubai Digital returns as a leading fair platform for digital and immersive practice. Curated by Ulrich Schrauth and Nadine Khalil, the 2026 edition is titled “Myth of the Digital”, framing digital art not as a niche or future-facing category, but as a vital force in contemporary discourse. Expect installation-led and multisensory works, from AI-driven data sculptures and interactive screen-based pieces to digital stained glass and textile-informed surfaces.

Bawwaba Extended
New for 2026, Bawwaba Extended is an artist-focused, interdisciplinary section that spans the entire fair. Spanning installations, digital media, moving image, sound and public interventions, it is designed to transform Madinat Jumeirah into a site of experimentation. The section is curated by Amal Khalaf and Alexie Glass-Kantor, Executive Director, Curatorial, Art Dubai Group.

You can expect an exceptional lineup of over 120 exhibitors, installations and discussions at Art Dubai 2026. Piaget should also return with a unique commission.
Art Dubai has been crucial in shaping the regional and global art scene since 2007. Now in its latest edition, the fair continues to foster collaborations to create opportunities for artists and cultural leaders.
