Dubai Calendar, Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and Dubai Sports Council are behind The World Padel League. The event takes place from 8 to 11 June 2023 at Coca-Cola Arena. The tournament features four teams, comprised of 24 of the world's top-ranked padel players.

Upcoming performers at World Padel League include Emirati singer and songwriter Shamma Hamdan on 8 June. Plus, British band Simply Red on 9 June.

Simply Red formed in Manchester back in 1985. The group got its name from the lead singer, Mick Hucknall. He chose it as a nod to his hair and his love of the football team, Manchester United. The group have had 10 songs reach the top 10 in the UK Singles Chart. The songs Holding Back the Years and If You Don’t Know Me by Now hit the number one spot on the US Billboard Hot 100.
