Two of Dubai’s most popular homegrown heavyweights — Canary Club and The MAINE — are bringing a double-dose of coastal cool to Club Vista Mare this October. The new Palm Jumeirah destination will feature two adjoining beach club venues: the laid-back West Coast-inspired Canary Beach and the refined East Coast-style The MAINE Palm.

Designed by local creative firm Fighterbrands, the project is described as “a natural and fun evolution of both brands into a bold coastal aesthetic where every detail is considered, a space that feels deeply familiar and yet wholly unexpected. Canary Beach with its Californian West Coast spirit and The MAINE Palm with its signature East Coast style, people have come to expect and love over the years.”

It’s a natural evolution for co-founders Amjad Barakat and Jamal Wick (Canary Club) and Joey Ghazal (The MAINE), whose first collaboration in 2022 resulted in the wildly successful Canary Club in JLT.

With four distinct dining spaces, multiple lounge bars, seaside terraces, beach beds, and cabanas, this beachfront venture is primed to become a firm favourite on Palm Jumeirah. On the culinary front, each concept brings its signature hits with a beach-ready twist. Expect crudos, ceviches, and sushi signatures from Canary Beach while The MAINE Palm delivers on its raw bar classics, grilled meats, and a fresh crop of seasonal plates crafted exclusively for the new space.

“With Canary Beach, we wanted to bring that same energy to a setting that feels both fresh and timeless. Club Vista Mare has always been a beloved spot with the most beautiful waters on the Palm, and we saw a gap in the market to bring something different here. There’s a special vibe to Canary that we believe will translate beautifully here and bring something exciting to the mix,” shares Amjad Barakat.

For The MAINE, this marks the first Dubai opening since 2020’s FACT award-winning Land Brasserie in Business Bay, arriving just in time for the brand’s 10-year anniversary. The MAINE Palm is the group’s first-ever seaside venue in Dubai.

Joey Ghazal adds, “The MAINE has spent the last decade delivering crowd-pleasing brasseries to Dubai’s communities — JBR, Business Bay, and Studio City. The MAINE Palm and Canary Beach continues that commitment to servicing the residents of the Palm Jumeirah and our dedication to delivering quality dining, warm and inviting ambience, great value and a destination where everyone feels welcome.”
