The company is behind London’s Ave Mario, Circolo Popolare and Gloria.

The European restaurant company, Big Mamma Group, can be found around the world in London, Madrid and Paris. Now, it is set to make its mark in the Middle East and open in Dubai, UAE.

While the details for the new Big Mamma Group restaurant(s) in Dubai have not yet been confirmed, we’re expecting it to be just as successful as its other outlets around the world. Founded in 2015, the company recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, and showed staff skydiving from a plane. Today, the brand has 28 restaurants across Europe in Belgium, England, France, Germany, Italy, Monaco and Spain.

Big Mamma Group Dubai

In London, Big Mamma Group’s restaurants include Ave Mario, Carlotta, Circolo Popolare, Gloria and Jacuzzi. Located in Shoreditch, Gloria is one of its most successful restaurants in the capital, and boasts a firm following. The menu showcases Italian classics, freshly made pasta and Neapolitan pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven. The news of a Big Mamma Group Dubai opening was revealed via a series of LinkedIn job postings looking for a Restaurant Manager, Head of Communications, and Event Director.

The group also recently announced that it is launching Barbarella in Canary Wharf, London. It is set to open in June and will be located in the YY Building. The new restaurant will offer a retro-inspired experience, and will bring a touch of Italian nostalgia to life.

Located on the first floor, it will include an open kitchen and lounge. The site will be able to accommodate approximately 225 people. The design will draw inspiration from Italian cinema in the 1970s. Head chef Marco Rastelli is behind the menu, which will include 1.2kg T-bone, thin pizzas and more.
