The new concept pairs speciality coffee and pastries by day with seasonal, shareable menus after dark.
Dubai’s dining scene doesn’t slow down. The latest arrival is OTHER, a design-led concept now open in Dar Wasl, described as “easygoing and community-led”, making it a relaxed place to stay for longer.
From the moment you step inside, the mood is calm but intentional. Interiors come courtesy of Verhaal, with a look that feels bold without being loud. Expect strong colours balanced by softer textures, plus seating zones that make it easy to settle in and stay put. It is a space that feels curated, not contrived.

The rhythm at OTHER in Dubai changes throughout the day. Mornings lean open and breezy, geared towards a laidback café experience built around pastries, speciality coffee, and crafted mocktails. It’s well-suited to casual catch-ups or solo work sessions.
As the day winds down, the atmosphere shifts into something more intimate, and the offering becomes more food-focused. Evenings bring seasonal menus designed for sharing, with a produce-led approach that keeps the experience feeling current. The idea is straightforward: quality ingredients, thoughtful combinations, and dishes that are satisfying without overcomplicating the brief. Signature plates include the Spicy Beef Tenderloin, the Hot Dog and Caviar Sandwich, and the OTHER Wagyu Beef Burger.

Behind the concept is The Food District, the team responsible for a growing portfolio of homegrown names, including Moon Slice Pizza, Onda and DROP. Each has its own identity, but the common thread is a focus on craft, creativity, and design.
If you appreciate good food in a space that feels considered, OTHER in Dubai belongs on your radar.
