Shuweihi has debuted in the UAE.

How do you take your tea? If the answer is with a spoonful of Saudi Arabia, then Sharjah’s newest opening may be just the place. Shuweihi has recently opened in the emirate, bringing a warm, nostalgic concept born in the Kingdom to the UAE.

Currently in its soft-opening phase, Shuweihi is open daily from 3pm to midnight. Founded by Saudi Arabian entrepreneur Shamma Ibrahim, the concept is rooted in family, memory and hospitality. Inspired by childhood moments and the family inviting everyone to gather, this aims to be more than a tea shop. It is a place designed for connection, reunion and celebrating the ritual of tea time.

The interiors in Shuweihi reflect this sense of comfort and nostalgia, and make you feel like you are stepping into someone’s home. The space is predominantly white, softened by white furnishings including sofas, curtains and walls. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the venue with natural light. Guests can choose between indoor seating or a relaxed outdoor area.

Inside, the old-school aesthetic continues with a wooden entrance door, vintage-inspired details and a distinctive green counter where tea is served. Outside, there are dark wooden tables and chairs sit among greenery and potted plants. Plus, there are nods to the region that ground the space in local culture. We spotted photographs of UAE leaders on the walls, and Arabic writing on the inside and outside.
