New York’s most storied spot is reimagined for life in Dubai.

New York’s iconic property, The Carlyle, is heading to Dubai, but not as a hotel. The Carlyle Residences will anchor a new 32-storey mixed-use tower in the heart of DIFC, introducing just 40 homes that channel the Upper East Side’s timeless poise. Nearly a century after The Carlyle first welcomed guests on Madison Avenue, its spirit of service and style is set to arrive in the city’s financial district with a contemporary twist.

The Carlyle Dubai collection will comprise private apartments ranging from two to five bedrooms, each oriented to capture sweeping views of Dubai’s evolving skyline. While the setting has changed, the brand’s heritage remains intact. Paris-based interior designer Tristan Auer has been commissioned to shape the look and feel. With landmark credits that include Carlton Cannes and Hotel de Crillon, Auer brings a palette of veined marble, bronze and hand-finished wood to Dubai. At the pinnacle sits a six-bedroom duplex penthouse, arranged for grand entertaining, complete with expansive living and dining rooms and a private wellness floor featuring a marble pool, spa, and gym.

Owners can expect the signature service that has defined The Carlyle for generations. Beyond attentive concierge support, amenities include an infinity pool lined with daybeds, a state-of-the-art fitness studio, a greenery-framed pool bar and a dedicated private dining room for hosting in true New York style. The Carlyle Residences will be exclusive to homeowners, preserving a club-like sense of privacy amid the bustle of DIFC.

Dubai’s real estate market continues to swell with marquee names, and The Carlyle joins a wave of luxury projects from brands such as Aman, Rosewood and Six Senses that are set to redefine the city’s hospitality skyline over the coming years. Pricing for The Carlyle Residences has not yet been revealed, but demand is expected to be strong.
