Dubai is no stranger to world-class wellness experiences. Each year, FACT celebrates the best in the business through the FACT Spa & Wellness Awards UAE. This year, the emirate’s wellness landscape is about to welcome a first-of-its-kind bathhouse, Sacra, promising a haven of relaxation.

Located on 17B Street in Jumeirah, Sacra is the city’s newest destination for indulgent self-care. Spanning three levels and catering to both men and women in thoughtfully separated spaces, this bathhouse and spa concept offers a full-circle experience blending heritage, innovation, and elevated design. Opening later this year, it will boast a comprehensive range of wellness amenities.

Sacra

Sacra’s design concept is inspired by authentic Russian Banyas. These bathhouses are a cherished cultural practice known for their restorative health benefits. True to this, Sacra’s interiors promise to impress and soothe, offering a blend of beige and gold tones, patterned furnishings, and textured finishes. Whether you’re in it for a deep detox, to sweat out stress, or simply to recharge, these immersive chambers are a grounding force that sets Sacra apart as a true temple of wellness.

Sacra will span two floors, each offering separate facilities for men and women, ensuring a comfortable experience for all. The women’s area features a beauty salon offering manicures, pedicures, and an array of other pampering treatments. A private suite also makes it a prime spot for a girls’ day out. The men’s section, located on the first floor, includes three luxurious private suites ideal for relaxation.

The bathhouse doesn’t stop there. Guests can enjoy salt grottos, an ice atelier and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, saunas, steam rooms and wet zones, each crafted to restore equilibrium and elevate the senses.

For those who love to pair relaxation with dining, Sacra houses a restaurant, too. Its in-house eatery delivers a gourmet twist on nourishment, serving nutrient-rich dishes inspired by Middle Eastern and Oriental cuisines. From signature wellness plates to a dedicated caviar menu, the culinary offering lives up to the high standards set by the Bulldozer Group.

Alexander Orlov, Founder and CEO of Bulldozer Group, shares, “Sacra is a deeply personal passion project. It’s a way for me to give back to the community by creating a sanctuary where people can truly invest in their well-being and pamper themselves in a way that’s never been done before in Dubai. When we launched our hospitality group two decades ago, we could never have imagined the success that would allow us to expand globally. With Sacra, we are boldly stepping into the wellness industry, and I have no doubt that, just like our hospitality ventures, it will flourish and expand globally, starting with Dubai as the flagship destination for ultimate wellness. This is only the beginning, we are aggressively and rapidly exploring the wellness sector and will be opening concepts all over the world: Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.”

Sacra is backed by Bulldozer Group, a Dubai-based hospitality group renowned for its luxury dining concepts such as the recently opened Dragonfly, Frou Frou and La Baia. Sacra marks their foray into wellness in Dubai.

Set to become the ultimate destination for wellness in Dubai, Sacra will open later this year in Jumeirah.
