The carnival is coming to town. The Butterfly Carnival Festival is fluttering into Dubai. The party brings together international and local artists, from singers to DJs. The event is scheduled to take place at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on 11 November, and here’s how to get hold of tickets.
The Butterfly Carnival Festival line-up brings together more than 30 artists from around the world. The event is welcoming British garage acts, which include the Artful Dodger and Heartless Crew. The line-up also features Liverpool’s electro musician Sosa, Yorkshire’s techno talent wAFF, and South Africa’s ampiano artist Daliwonga.
The local stars include Dany Neville, who was born in Dubai and raised in Sharjah; Mister Levier, who has a residency at Soho Garden; and the Dubai-based Don’t Touch My Hair and Whitley Ruchea.
The Butterfly Carnival Festival’s set-up spans five stages, and performances also include acrobats, dancers, drummers and more. Plus, there will be street food trucks and bars, so you can refuel. Kicking off at 2pm, the carnival-esque event promises to bridge cultures through food, artistic showcases, and the universal language of music. Butterfly Carnival Music Festival has already partnered with Beirut import B018 DXB, House of Yanos (the city's biggest Amapiano and Afrobeats music event), and Rampage (the award-winning broadcaster on BBC 1Xtra).
If you’re a fan of live music, there are lots of cool concerts. Robbie Williams will perform at Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena on 18 October. Westlife will perform at Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena on 27 October. Plus, Australian rapper The Kid Laroi comes to Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on 8 December.
Festivalgoers can elevate their experience with exclusive tables and a VIP enclave, starting at AED 5,000, while backstage VIP tables begin at AED 20,000, catering to those seeking the ultimate in carnival indulgence.
